Program Manager: 1.0 FTE, Exempt position with good benefits
available June 1, 2009. Starting annual salary range: $38,605
- $50,190. The OPK Head Start Program Manager serves as the
director of both the OPK and Early OPK program components
and must have demonstrated skills and abilities in a management
capacity. Previous Head Start program management and a track
record of achieving Performance Standards are required. Minimum
educational and experiential requirements are: Bachelors
degree in Social Work, Education, Health, Program Management
and 6 years program management experience or Masters
degree and 4 years program management experience. Applicants
are sought who can take a well performing program and bring
it to even greater program success through creative programming
ideas, culturally appropriate services and collaborative partnerships
both with the agency and across the community. Must be skilled
at staff supervision, program monitoring and the development
of systems that track outputs and support outcomes evaluation.
Must demonstrate the ability to write detailed reports, policies
and action plans, develop detailed budgets and respond to
grant opportunities. Must be able to pass criminal background
check, be insurable as driver by agency and be accepted for
child care registry.

Family Child Care Visitor (Early Head Start/EOPK): FT, beginning
5/25/09 through 6/30/09. Continued employment beyond 6/30/09
dependent about renewal of funding. Beginning pay range 11.96/hr.
- 14.35/hr. BS in early childhood education, or related degree
and 2 yrs. exp. in infant/toddler classroom and/or case mgt
of low-income families or AA and 4 yrs. exp. Responsible for
providing and integrating education, social and health services
through weekly home visits with parents and/or family child
care providers.

physical exam and TB test before beginning work.
